Are you a qualified Boilermaker seeking a secure, high-paying role with a fantastic work-life balance? Randstad is recruiting for a crucial Temp-to-Perm position within the Asset Management function of a major public sector client on the Sunshine Coast.

The Offer: Pay & Roster

  • Hourly Rate: $52.00 per hour + Super.

  • Location: Nambour Depot (Sunshine Coast employment area).

  • Roster: 8-Day Fortnight (Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM).

  • Opportunity: Initial temporary assignment starting 7th January 2026, with the strong intention of a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

The Role: Metal Fabrication & Welding

Your primary focus will be delivering hands-on metal fabrication and welding services to maintain vital public infrastructure and assets.

Key Duties Include:

  • Carrying out metal fabrication and welding services.

  • Operating and maintaining machinery and equipment as per manufacturer's recommendations.

  • Liaising with the Foreman and other clients to manage job flow and priorities.

  • Ensuring personal safety and the safety of others by complying with WH&S procedures and using and maintaining correct PPE.

  • Reading and interpreting detailed drawings and plans.

Mandatory Requirements

You must possess the following:

  • Trade Qualification: Qualified trade certificate in Metal Fabrication or equivalent.

  • Safety Card: CPCCWHS1001 General Construction Induction (White Card).

  • Driver's Licence: Current MR Class Driver's Licence OR Willingness to Obtain

  • Right to Work: Full Australian Working Rights.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience and knowledge of metal fabrication and welding, including all forms of TIG, MIG, STICK & Oxy-Acetylene welding.

  • Sound knowledge of the fundamentals of metallurgy.

  • Demonstrated ability in reading drawings and detailed plans.
